About This Wine
A classic Australian Shiraz, named after Penfolds’ Kalimna Vineyard in the Barossa Valley. It is a wine known internationally for its consistent quality, value for money and cellaring potential.
Premium Shiraz grapes from the low yielding Kalimna Vineyard are selected, as well as Shiraz from other renowned South Australian wine districts to provide the full spectrum of varietal aromas and flavours, thereby adding complexity to the wine.
This release represents an earlier period of Bin 28, when the wine retained a close association with the Kalimna Vineyard. As Bin 28 is no longer produced as a single-vineyard–focused wine today, this bottling is now regarded primarily for its historical and collectible value.
