About the Producer
Wendouree is an Australian producer located in the Clare Valley of South Australia. The property is more than 100 years old and has been run by Tony and Lita Brady since 1974.
The estate includes a 12 hectare vineyard planted to old vine Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Mataro and Muscat of Alexandria, with plantings dating from the late 1890s to early 1900s. The vineyard is dry farmed and grapes are handpicked.
Fermentation is carried out with indigenous yeasts in open-top stainless-steel fermenters, followed by maturation in French oak barrels for up to 12 months. Annual production is approximately 2000 cases.
