1999 Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml

Critic tasting note: (1999 vintage) "The fruit taken from Coonawarra, Padthaway, Bordertown and a touch from Kalimna is meant to varietal-ly expressive. Look for a distinctly herbal cabernet nose with bell pepper, spicy, mint cassis aromas mixed with leather and barnyard. Dry and tight on the palate with somewhat lean, green tannins in the finish. More minty, weedy, green bean, pepper and cassis flavours. This will need time but it's not the best 407 we've tasted.
