THE WINEMAKING Given the extremely low yields of only two and a half tons per hectare, the berries usually have a high skin to juice ratio, resulting in saturated colors and intense flavors. Aged for up to 14 months in new oak barrels (30-40%) and experienced French oak casks and vats.
