Iconic Côte-Rôtie Elegance from an Exceptional Vintage
The 2003 E. Guigal Côte-Rôtie La Landonne is a masterpiece from one of the Rhône Valley’s most revered producers. Sourced exclusively from the La Landonne vineyard, this wine is made from 100% Syrah vines rooted in steep, terraced schist soils. The vintage was marked by record heat and dryness, resulting in incredibly concentrated, age-worthy wines with extraordinary richness and structure.
Winemaking & Maturation
Fermented traditionally with extended maceration and aged for 42 months in new French oak barrels, La Landonne is a wine of immense power and depth. This bottling is consistently one of the most collectable and long-lived Syrahs in the world.
