Crafted by Bindi Winegrowers in Victoria’s Macedon Ranges, the 2005 Composition Chardonnay is sourced from mature vines planted on elevated, cool-climate slopes. This region is renowned for producing elegant, mineral-driven Chardonnays with depth and finesse.

The 2005 season brought a wetter-than-average spring followed by a well-balanced, cool growing period. These conditions contributed to wines with freshness, precision, and layered complexity
Tasting Profile
Appearance: Pale straw with subtle green-gold hues
Nose: Fresh aromas of lime blossom, green apple, lemon peel, white peach, and honeysuckle, with delicate notes of toasty oak
Palate: Bright and energetic with citrus and orchard fruit, layered over creamy texture and mineral tension. Gentle oak spice supports a clean, zesty finish
Cellaring and Pairing
Although originally peaking between 2010 and 2014, bottles stored in optimal conditions may still offer vibrant acidity and graceful evolution. Ideal with creamy seafood dishes such as pan-seared scallops or lemon-butter salmon, as well as soft cheeses.
