Producer tasting notes: (2005 vintage) "A good cork was extracted from this bottle, with little wine travel. Deep, impressive looking colour, with just the beginnings of a brick hue developing. The nose displays dark fruits, along with a touch of cardamom, pepper, tar and molasses. Quite youthful to smell. Will benefit from decanting. This is a big vine (in contrast to the 2004 below) with plenty of extact. The balance remains good, thanks to fresh acidity and firm tannins. Quite a mouthful. Clearly conveys the wonderful ripeness of this excellent vintage." - Noon Winery
