Tyrrell’s Vat 47 is one of Australia’s most iconic Chardonnays, sourced from premium Hunter Valley vineyards including the Short Flat, HVD, and NVC sites. The 2008 vintage enjoyed a warm and balanced season, producing fruit of excellent ripeness and intensity. Matured in French oak barriques, the wine shows elegance and complexity. In the glass, it displays a pale straw-gold hue. Aromas of white peach, melon, citrus zest, and subtle roasted nuts mingle with notes of vanilla and struck flint.
