Impenetrable inky black and dark red in color, this wine features a very deep dark red-black hue. The nose reveals strong notes of charred oak and scorched earth, followed by hints of clove, faint licorice, and spice. While the palate begins with a touch of fruit sweetness, it is quickly overwhelmed by charred oak, clove, and scorched earth, with spice present in the sharp finish. The tannins are velvety smooth. The aftertaste is dominated by charred oak, clove, scorched earth, and spice. Overall, it comes across as a charcoal bomb. Pass. ABV: 14.5%
