94/100 — Ben Edwards, Halliday Wine Companion · 2010 Vintage
“Deep colour, bright; an uncompromising bouquet of essence red and dark fruits, with licorice and tar also on display; the palate is finely poised as the fresh acidity plays the perfect foil to the ample and chewy, medium-grained tannins that simply roll around the mouth, and provide a long and distinguished finish.”

“This has developed a savory nose of olives, smoked meat, white pepper, black fruit and dried herbs. It's silky and flavorful, with a medium body and excellent freshness. Lengthy and tasty finish. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink now or hold. Screw cap.”
About This Wine
Ironheart is the flagship Shiraz from Yangarra Estate Vineyard’s single vineyard in Blewitt Springs, at the northern edge of McLaren Vale. The vineyard’s northern aspect, higher elevation and sandy ironstone soils contribute to Shiraz with concentration and finesse.
