About the Winery
Wendouree is a Clare Valley icon with over a century of winemaking history. Owned and operated by Tony and Lita Brady since 1974, the original stone winery remains in use today. Its 12-hectare vineyard is planted with old-vine Shiraz, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Mataro and Muscat of Alexandria — many established between the 1890s and early 1900s.
Critic Tasting Notes
“Fine, elegant fruit characters that, like the Cabernet/Malbec, tend towards violet. This continues on the palate with fresh red fruits and a touch of menthol, sitting over silky, fine tannins. The elegance and length here are standouts, making this a lovely drink now. Superb effort!”
