Aged for 17 months in new French oak, this old-vine cuvée wears its oak influence proudly. It’s rich, flamboyant, and polished, with firm, cedary tannins. This wine needs time for its layers of violet, boysenberry, kirsch, black olive, anise, and cracked pepper to meld and balance, gradually flowing over the oaky structure rather than being overshadowed by it.
