Youthfully purple-black in colour despite its six years of age; the nose still speaks a bit more of oak than fruit, with cedary, vanillin and tarry notes dominating blackberry aromas, but fruit is there at its heart. It's clean and vibrant, and the medium-to-full-bodied palate flows seamlessly through a surprisingly soft, long finish. An easy-drinking 'big red' of generosity and style 08 Dec 2024

93/100 from The Real Review - Ralph Kyte-Powell
Abundant blackberry fruit is the hallmark of this wine, as is its high ripeness, generosity and warming palate. Decanting is recommended to help liberate the fruit from the high alcohol. That said, the wine is delicious, with baked berry pie and licorice notes, and the vineyard's quality is evident in the wine's concentration and fresh, cleansing finish. If you love bold, juicy reds, this will be your kind of wine.
