92/100 — Dave Brookes, Halliday Wine Companion · 2018 Vintage · Tasted: 14 Dec 2023
“This wine had me doing a double-take immediately. It comes in a half-bottle so I was expecting something sweet, and it landed in my glass a lot drier than expected. What I did expect and what it delivered was those uber-heady gewürztraminer floral notes. Think Turkish delight, rosewater, mineral salts, lychee, tropical fruits, soul-like skinsy spice, dried honey and jasmine and you’re on the right track, with a finish like sucking on a riverstone. A very cool little wine.”
