2019 Greenock Creek Sparkling Shiraz 750ml

This old vine Shiraz vineyard is located on the rolling hills and gullies of Marananga from a site that is adjacent our own Estate. The cooling gully breezes of this site allows slow ripening and a freshness of fruit profile that as ideal to produce this Method Champenoise style wine. The base wine was matured in American oak barrels for 1 year to develop richness and nutty oak nuances, before it was secondary fermented in bottle. After 3 years of contact with the yeast in bottle the wine was disgorged with a minimal amount of liquor that was blended with our own port to retain a balanced and refreshing palate. Drink over the next 6-8 years. Alc. 14.5%
