Co-fermented with a touch of Viognier (3%), it's hand-picked and fermented with indigenous yeasts in open top fermenters, then aged in seasoned French oak for 20 months. This wine presents a purple-black hue, with enticing aromas of mocha, dark chocolate, blueberry compote, grilled peaches, and fragrant blue violet florals, complemented by subtle notes of crushed gum leaf and bay leaf, with hints of cedar spice. The palate is bold and rich, featuring sweet flavors of wild raspberry, strawberry, and rhubarb, enveloped by dusty French oak tannins and a fine acid line, with subtle peach-like complexity from the Viognier.
