2020 Palliser Estate Pinot Noir 750ml

Eighteen percent whole clusters were incorporated into the ferment with maturation taking place in French oak (27% new) for a period of 10 months. Semi translucent dark red colour with black tinged edges and a light red hue. Pronounced spicy dark cherry and strawberry scents drift from the glass complexed by dried herb, forest floor and cedar notes. Savoury red to dark cherry and winter strawberry fruits have a warm comforting feel across the palate with forest floor, dried herb, a touch of meatiness and spicy cedar chiming in on the back half. Refined, well integrated tannins lead into a long, complex and layered finish.
