2021 Craiglee Vineyard Shiraz 750ml

Craiglee is one of the finest examples of cool-climate Shiraz produced in Australia, and the 2019 Craiglee Shiraz is already drawing plenty of attention. An aromatic and impeccably structured Shiraz; the intensity of flavour, balance and lively bright fruit ensures this is a wine with a long life ahead of it. An excellent dark red shot with purple. Restrained aromas with charry oak and hot bitumen, then a faint flutter of baking spices and florals follow. Lots of secondary flavours making an impact with lashings of sweet and toasty, cedary oak infusing the fuller-bodied palate, soy sauce, charred radicchio, some aniseed and pops of squishy plums, too.
