Awards, Ratings & Reviews
91–93/100 — Neal Martin, Vinous · 2022 Vintage
“The 2022 Chablis Montée de Tonnerre 1er Cru, which was taken from vat, has a very clever reduction on the nose, fine delineation and concentration. Touches of yellow fruit and beeswax emerge with time in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a crisp bead of acidity. Not quite as saline as Deplessis’ other cuvées, but it has a charming, tropical tinged finish that leaves you seduced.”
90–93/100 — Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy · 2022 Vintage
“Pale in colour and fresh on the nose, left bank austerity shines through at first, then the main body of the wine is much fleshier behind. Even with some heat at the finish, but more spice. Good grip though, this has potential to be a grand vin de garde.”
