93–95/100 — Neal Martin, Vinous · 2022 Vintage
“The 2022 Chablis Montmains 1er Cru comes from 3 hectares of vine, the largest holding in the climat. This sample was also taken from tanks after six months in used barrel. It has an open bouquet with touches of mirabelle, crushed chalk and light sea spray influence. The palate is well balanced with a slightly honeyed entry and yet this is effortlessly countered by the vein of acidity. Lovely ‘bite’ on the finish, there is a sense of completeness that makes this the pick of the Domaine’s cuvées in 2022.”
91–93/100 — Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy · 2022 Vintage · Tasted Jul 2023
“Pale colour. There is something a little vegetal on the nose, which could come from the barrels. Excellent intensity here, a strong white fruit backbone with a touch of reduction, a faint lime juice. Plenty going on, a wine still in its infancy. Drink from 2027-2034.”
