Formerly Gaja Dagromis was labeled as Gaja Conteisa Cerequio Gromis. This Barolo from the renowned Gaja winery is a splendid example of the Nebbiolo grape's potential in the Piedmont region of Italy. The Dagromis expresses a bouquet of red cherries, roses, and tar, with subtle hints of spice. On the palate, it unveils a complex structure, with tight tannins and high acidity, offering flavors of red fruits, leather, and earthy notes. This wine is destined for the cellar and promises to evolve gracefully over the years, making it a valuable addition to any collection. Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Fresh and restrained wine, with an exquisite mix of graphite, orange peel, dried cherries and strawberries, as well as whiffs of potpourri and licorice.
