Composed of 60% Cabernet Franc, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Petit Verdot off a mix of both white and dark soils. As always the varieties are vinified separately at around 25 degrees Celsius with 15% whole bunch component. After this the wine moves to oak for 12 months around which 25% is new. The vineyards are all situated near the winery all within Bolgheri DOC and classified as such.
Critic tasting note: (2022 vintage) "Redcurrant, cherry and olive-leaf aromas follow through to a medium body with very fine, caressing tannins and a long, juicy finish. Lightly crunchy and chewy. Extremely well crafted and delicious already, but better in a couple of years. Drink or hold." - James Suckling
