This wine is made from 100% Carricante, a native Sicilian grape variety cultivated by brothers Diego and Alberto Cusumano. The vineyards are located in Castiglione di Sicilia (Contrade Verzella and Pietramarina) and Linguaglossa (Contrada Arrigo), at altitudes between 600–750 meters. Vines are espalier-trained with a density of 6,500 per hectare.
The grapes are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and undergo temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel. The wine is then aged on fine lees in steel for four months.
Tasting notes highlight ripe apples and pears, accented by spice, chamomile, and stony minerality. It is medium-bodied, sleek, and polished, with juicy acidity and layered fruit expression.
