Of all recent releases, this is the big improver: riotously perfumed, wilder than before, more generous than previously, more apparently nero (yet the blend remains shiraz/ nero), and slightly more gripping in the mid-palate. The decision to plant these two varieties in the same vineyard and combine them has resulted in a pleasingly satisfying mid-weight red, ready to be drunk while youthful and vibrant. Estate grown at Grosset Rockwood Vineyard in the Clare Valley (A-Grade Certified Organic and Biodynamic).
