96/100 — Ryan Montgomery, jamessuckling.com · Aug 2025
“Highly perfumed, showing aromas of violets, blueberry bush, apricot blossoms, white pepper and black cherries. The midweight palate has finely tuned tannins with a floral, herbal and meaty finish. A serious wine, showing all the hallmarks of a great cool-vintage, northern-Rhone syrah. Drink or hold. Screw cap.”
96/100 — Aaron Brasher, The Real Review · Jan 2025
“A vibrant purple red in the glass. Lifted and heady aromas of blueberry, sarsaparilla, clove, dried herbs, Asian spice and an enticing bunchy funk. Fresh, crunchy, bright and punchy in flavour. Full of blue fruits, sweet spice, nutty oak and a wild, brambly exotic-ness. The tannins are shapely, firm and savoury and the acidity brings plenty of snap and crackle to the finish. A lovely example of a cooler climate, mid-weighted shiraz.”
