2023 Patrick of Coonawarra P Series Rose 750ml

Tasting Note:  This dry Rosé style is vibrant and fresh, featuring berry fruit aromas and floral hints, complemented by a soft, silky mouthfeel. The palate offers notes of strawberries and cream, perfectly balanced with fruit sweetness and a crisp, refreshing finish. Winemaker’s Note:  The grapes, sourced from a single vineyard, consist of 40% Merlot, 30% Cabernet, and 30% Chardonnay. They were crushed and left on skins for 8 hours to enhance flavor and extract vibrant color before pressing. Vintage Note:  Vintage 2023 faced some challenges with cooler, wetter weather patterns persisting from February through the growing season. Fortunately, a burst of warm weather in late February boosted ripeness and flavor, leading to a harvest in early March. The whites were exceptional, showcasing great natural acidity and complex character.
