Based in Tasmania, Domaine Simha (Sanskrit for lion) celebrates a heroic legacy, drawing inspiration from royalty and Eastern legends. Winemaker Nav Singh embraces an avant-garde philosophy, crafting "living wines" that blend deep knowledge with intuitive artistry. With only a few barrels produced each season, these wines reflect the purity of Tasmania’s pristine environment, crisp air, and ancient soils.  Sourcing grapes from exceptional vineyards in the upper Derwent, Coal River, and Huon Valleys, Domaine Simha creates single-vineyard wines shaped naturally to capture the essence of Tasmanian terroir and seasonal character. Grapes are hand-harvested in sync with the lunar calendar on fruit and flower days. Traditional methods like whole-bunch wild fermentation, foot stomping, and gentle pigeage result in wines with remarkable elegance, depth, and aromatic complexity. Using clay amphorae, ceramic eggs, and custom demi-muid oak barrels enhances the fruit's expression. Bottled unfined and unfiltered, these wines exhibit perfect natural balance, strong foundations, and exceptional aging potential.
