2024 Serrat 'Autres Terres' Tasmania Pinot Noir 750ml

The is second release of this exploration of the Apple Isle, this year from a single site located in the Coal River valley. A mix of Pommard and MV6 clone, a small portion of whole bunch and aged in 500L French oak puncheons. This an impressive wine from a cracking vintage down in Tassie. It is quite dark in colour with a purple edge, darker brambly fruit with a lovely violet floral lift, extremely pure and enticing and complex. The palate is incredibly silky and detailed, it flows across the palate and has some lovely firm tannins adding depth and concentration. It will continue to improve for many years. Best 2028-2040
