About This Wine
Patchy flowering in spring resulted in loose grape bunches and lower bunch numbers. Combined with fine weather, ultra dry conditions, and a strong diurnal range in March, the yield was lower with beautifully rich and ripe fruit and flavours across the fruit spectrum.
Small parcels of Pinot Gris were fermented separately using a variety of yeasts. Pressings were fermented in oak and kept separate from the free run which was tank fermented. The wine was assembled with the primary goal of balance, accentuating clean fruit character.
All growers are certified sustainable, with viticulturists following an organic and natural approach where possible, alongside a low intervention winemaking approach.
