92/100 SILVER— New Zealand International Wine Show · 2025 Vintage
About This Wine
2025 delivered a balanced climate with sunny days and cool nights. Careful crop management of high yields resulted in a wine with purity, zest, and expressive aromatics.
Select parcels were gently fermented in seasoned French barriques, while others were vinified in stainless steel to preserve purity. Post-fermentation, components were kept separate and rested on lees to maintain freshness, with oak-fermented portions remaining on lees to build palate weight and aromatic depth.
Producer Notes
Nose: An elegant bouquet of delicate tropical fruits and soft florals, subtly underscored by fresh-cut grass and a whisper of herbaceous intrigue.
Palate: In contrast to the gentle aromatics, the palate delivers a vibrant tide of fruit density and zesty citrus tension. Notes of lime weave through a finely textured mouthfeel, finishing crisp and dry. There's a layered complexity at play with a refined textural evolution that will sing with food.
