Since the early 1980's, we have been supporting the LGBTQ+ community as part of our strong belief that people should be free to love who they choose, and everyone should be free to express themselves. Back in 2008 – for the 30th anniversary of the Pride Flag and our first Pride bottle - it only made sense to collaborate with artist and activist Gilbert Baker, one of the most prominent forces of the modern LGBTQ+ movement and designer of the original Rainbow flag back in 1978. And in 2018, when Gilbert Baker’s rainbow flag was about to turn 40, we thought it was time for the Rainbow to get a permanent place in the Absolut family as a symbol and celebration of our long and strong support to the LGBTQ+ community. This humble tribute to our late friend Gilbert Baker is filled with the closest thing we will ever get to such an immortal legend – Absolut Vodka Original.
