Alain Graillot Crozes Hermitage 2022 is as beautiful as always. The wines shows the elegant, perfumed nature of the region: stemmy, raspberry with a hint of jam, red florals, with a mineral, graphite edge. The palate of Alain Graillot Crozes Hermitage at the moment is lean with high tannins and umami tea leaf finish. This is a wine to decant or to cellar, it will improve over many, many years. Alain Graillot is the benchmark for Crozes Hermitage. I have been enjoying wines from this estate for many years and one of the things I appreciate is they are always of an outstanding quality.
