Vibrant, textured, and regionally true , Allevare Gippsland Chardonnay is a standout West Gippsland single-block white.
Crafted by Lucy Kendall and Alysha Moscatt on their Ripplebrook estate, this Chardonnay comes from 40-year-old vines planted on rich alluvial red soils. Whole-bunch pressed and 100% barrel-fermented in seasoned French oak, then aged on lees with full malolactic conversion, it delivers a layered, terroir-driven expression of Gippsland.
Tasting NotesAromas of white florals, citrus peel, nectarine, and subtle stone fruit lead into a savoury, textural palate. Expect flavours of grilled peach, apple, almond meal, and ginger biscuit, framed by bright acidity and a mineral edge. Medium-bodied with impressive drive and focus, this Chardonnay offers both vibrancy and depth, finishing clean and finely balanced.
