Antonio has a long history in the wine industry, including working as cellar master for Poggio Argentiera. When he decided it was time to do his own thing his own way he purchased two very old vineyards on the border of Lazio, between Sovana and Pitigliano, an area that has been making outstanding wines since the time of the Etruscans. His five hectares of vineyards are spread over various soil types and different micro-climates, but all influenced by the coastal breezes and tempering influence of the Mediterranean sea. A red wine that comes from the union of the ciliegiolo, grenache and carignano varieties, the grapes have separate vinifications and different origins,it ferments in steel spontaneously with maceration on the skins for 10 days, it is refined in cement. This is a juicy red with Mediterranean fruits on the nose as the name would suggest. Herbaceous, vibrant with a fleshy texture. Perfect red for some sunshine.
