Quite a bold fruity nose of pear, flowers, dusty spice box and almond with a nice light yeasty bready overtone. A dry fairly full bodied palate with citrus and pear flavours – quite savoury though. Foamy and pleasant but not particularly fine – more a hearty slap on the back sort of bubble. Finishes with a nice dry leesy savoury finish although not a long one.
