Black Tot Finest Caribbean Rum 700mL @ 46.2 % abv

$103.82
Black Tot, Finest Caribbean Rum Black Tot combines the elegant, rich flavours from Barbados and Guyana with the bold character of Jamaica. This multi-layered rum is unsweetened, un-chill filtered and bottled at 46.2% for extra flavour. BLACK TOT STYLE Inspired by 300 years of Navy tradition, Black Tot holds Caribbean rum at its heart, using some of the finest examples from Barbados, Guyana and Jamaica to create a rum for today. Unhindered by convention, Black Tot have turned Navy rum on its head – replacing the singular, sweet styles of the past with a multi-faceted, unsweetened rum that focuses on flavour. BARBADOS Home to the oldest rum distillery in the world, Barbados is famous for its elegant and fruity rums that are perfect for both sipping and mixing. GUYANA Guyana produces some of the world’s finest sugarcane and intense, full-bodied rums that have been the cornerstone of Caribbean blends since the 18th century. JAMAICA Heavier in style, pot-still Jamaican rum utilises longer fermentation times and proprietary yeasts to create its distinctively big, funky flavours. TASTING NOTES NOSE Tropical breezes of pineapple, melon and a feast of Caribbean sweets. Thick scents of banana fritters, plantain tarts, overripe mango and crème brûlée are lifted by fresh honeysuckle blossom and eucalyptus. PALATE Rounded and rich, with butter toffee, banana cream, and caramel to start. Gentle cinnamon and allspice build with more fruit – baked apples, pineapple cubes, and dried mango – joined by coffee, dark chocolate, and black pepper. FINISH Chocolatey coffee fades, leaving roasted bananas and a tingle of anise.
