The 2021 Beaune du Château Blanc 1er Cru has an attractive nose of Golden Delicious and Williams pear aromas, nicely focused though not intense. Aromas of citrus oil, crisp green apple, white flowers and pastry cream introduce the 2021 Beaune 1er Cru du Château Blanc, a medium-bodied, satiny and charming wine that's bright and precise, concluding with a saline finish. WILLIAM KELLEY, wineadvocate.com
Slightly more prominent wood sets off slightly riper aromas of white orchard fruit, floral wisps and a similar hint of lemon zest. This appealing effort should also drink well young if that's your preference.
