Gamay is a variety that we normally associate with the Beaujolais region of France abd this Tasmanian example provides you with vibrant, wild forest berry fruits of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries. There’s a metalic edge as a secondary character, plus dried fennel and thyme make for a subtle and elegant mid palate that finishes with mellow tannins and balanced acidity. You can match this beautifully with roasted poultry like Chicken or Turkey including roasted vegetables, cured meats and pates or Tomato based Pasta dishes like Spaghetti Marinara.
