About This Whisky
This vintage single malt was distilled entirely in December of 2012 and represents Old Bushmills' first ever Christmas whiskey. It marks the distillery's first ever full first-fill Oloroso cask maturation, sourcing fresh Sherry casks from the Paez Lobato family-owned bodega in Jerez, Spain.
The whiskey is bottled at its natural cask strength of 51.6% ABV and is non-chill filtered. It was created by Master Blender Alex Thomas.

About the Distillery
Old Bushmills Distillery is the world’s oldest licensed whiskey distillery, located by Saint Columb’s Rill, a tributary of the River Bush. While the official founding by Hugh Anderson dates to 1784, the first licence to distil in the area was granted to Thomas Phillips in 1608.
Bushmills is the only Irish distillery to use malted barley exclusively in all its whiskeys. While the majority of Irish whiskey is produced with continuous column stills, Bushmills uses traditional copper pot stills and triple distillation, resulting in a light, fruity, and smooth style of spirit.
