Predominantly old vine 70% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay from a blend of the family’s vineyards in Verzenay and Verzy. Base vintage plus 30% older wines matured in wood. Beautiful light gold color. A rather intense nose of stewed fruit, particularly apple and pear. The palate is fresh, fruity, in the same slightly open register with a lovely tangy length on the finish. Gilbert & Gaillard
