Bright polished brass. First pass presents mildly green / grassy / vegetal notes as well as roasted herbs; quite lean and peppery for the genre. 3-4 minutes does little to coax beyond a woody, astringent nose-feel. Follows through in a medium bodied, drier-styled brandy with restrained plum and dried fruit notes. Finish brings a vanilla aspect; fades warming, brisk, understated with white pepper and cedary oak through the aftertaste.
