Concentration of black cherry and blackberry fruits make for a generous entry with dark chocolate and rounded oak playing a complimentary role. There is a touch of elegance through the mid palate with notes of white pepper, violet flowers and dried thyme, which then finishes with finely grained tannins including leafy freshness of mild acidity. It has balance, finesse and power all in one glass that will continue to develop with cellaring through to 2036. Match with Fillet Mignon or a mature soft cheese.
