Cleanskin Tasmanian Sparkling Blanc de Blanc 2010

This 100% Chardonnay Sparkling is complex with a richness of flavour that isn't achievable in younger wines with subtle fruit characters of white peaches, but it is the secondary characters that make this wine shine with expressive yeasty, bready characters, roasted nuts, fino sherry, oyster shells and truffles. It's ultra complex, which finishes with a lingering dry finish, that has a structured influence of quince as well.
