The heart of Mahura.
The soul of an Indian Single Malt.
Matured first in ex-Bourbon and ex-Wine casks, this
single malt draws rich layers of apricot, vanilla, zesty
citrus and marzipan. But its final transformation comes
from an inquisitive pursuit of a Sui Generis, ancient tree:
the Madhuca or Mahura tree, sacred in the heart of the
forests of India.
For, the final finish is in ex-Madhuca casks at South Seas,
one of India’s oldest malt distilleries with over a century
of distilling legacy for Madhuca spirits. These unique
casks infuse the essence of wild blooms and earth or a
finish that is primal and deeply poetic.
The result is unlike anything else: A nose of vanilla,
caramel and forest nectar. A palate of apple, charred oak,
chocolate, and wildflower honey. Expect a finish that
lingers - long, warm, and is deeply satisfying.
