Glossy, burnished copper in colour. The plump bouquet offers notes of toffee apple, date, liquorice all sorts, vanilla and cocoa. A silky entry builds into a semi sweet, softly spiced, medium bodied style that’s very raisin and fruit cake like; a little broad at mid palate, though pleasantly spicy and with overall excellent balance. Finishes medium dry with an exceptionally long vanilla, raisin and cinnamon aftertaste. Great value 'everyday' drinking. 40% Alc./Vol.
