The 2022 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru comes from a single 0.2-hectare plot in the middle of the vineyard next to Long-Depaquit. This takes time to gather itself in the glass, fresh pear and Granny Smith apples, hints of hazelnut and smoke, gaining complexity as it unfurls in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, lightly spiced with a dash of white pepper and ginger, quite gentle on the finish. One of the more approachable Les Clos but it will age well in bottle. 93 Points Neal Martin, VINOUS.COM Vines right in the middle between Long-Depaquit and Louis Moreau. Ooh – now that’s engrossing – deep but fresh both mineral and fruit – ripe but vibrant – yes! There’s a good energy here – a little more direct than round – I find this just so delicious and detailed – that’s great today! You can probably keep plenty of years too Bill Nanson, BURGUNDY REPORT
