The 2017 Mazy-Chambertin Grand Cru has a beguiling, floral bouquet although, there is some reduction to contend with, that will be gone by the time of bottling. But one senses that this is more brooding. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannin, masculine and slightly ferrous, good density towards the finish, but this will require four or five years to really soften. Maybe the Charmes has more charm? This might be more intellectual however. - Tasted November 2018 92-94 Points Neal Martin, Vinous.com
