A deft touch of wood frames an airy, cool and admirably pure nose of cassis, spice, floral scents and ripe red berry fruit aromas. There is a lovely inner mouth perfume to the vibrant and intense middle weight flavors that display a soft minerality that carries over to the dusty and lingering finish. The supporting tannins are well-integrated and I particularly like the highly sophisticated mouth feel. This firm and beautifully balanced effort will very likely require 10 to 12 years of cellar time. 91 Points/Drink 2020+ - Allen Meadows, Burghound
