At the top and on the south side. Picked early, which is unusual for them. Mid primrose in colour. This Chevalier does offer a very classy nose, with a good weight of fruit, perhaps some light yellow notes instead of the habitual white limestone feel. Does not in any way denature it. Spice at the finish, sunshine on the stones reflecting in the wine, but not cooked grapes. Very long indeed. 94-96 Points Jasper Morris, Inside Burgundy
