Entirely crafted from centenarian Grenache Noir vines—planted in 1880 and 1910—the 2023 Nizon is a striking success. It bursts from the glass with a soaring bouquet of peonies, lavender, wild strawberries, mulberries and spring flowers. Medium- to full-bodied, it’s unusually dense and fleshy by L’Anglore’s standards yet retains the estate’s signature energy and transparency. Seamless and vibrant, with bright acids and refined tannins, it concludes with a long, ethereal finish that speaks to its pedigree.
